Keep registering the complaints at http://www.torontopearson.com/en/noisecomplaint/# We have other residents in Leaside who are outside the 10 mile range, but they have been told their complaint has been registered. Complain whenever the planes are too low, too loud, or too often. You don’t want to drive yourself crazy, but if you can do it once a week it helps. Have you signed the new on-line petition? We need everyone in your household 18 or over to sign. Our federal representatives say they need to be able to show numbers in order to be able to negotiate effectively. Talk to your neighbours. Get them to sign the petition (and anyone in their household over 18) and ask them to register complaints as well. We really need to get this rolling. We want significant numbers by September. Use facebook, word of mouth, but we need to get this rolling.

    I have searched through the website about noises due to aircraft/plane because since around April 20, 2013, all of sudden we hear constant disturbing noise of aircraft/plane EVERY DAY, on average almost every 30 minutes (if we are lucky) and if the weather is good then it is almost every 10 minutes. Somedays we could hear the loud and disturbing aircraft noise even after midnight and then it starts back as early as 5:47 AM.
    We have contacted the Town of where we live and they told us to contact Federal Aviation. So we contacted the Civil aviation to file a complaint at this number: Phone: 1-800-305-2059 (press 4 then 3) or 905.4055189
    The safety officer told us that she could not do anything and she told us that she would email us a link and if we want, we could register our complaint in that link. The link she sent us explains about “the Airspace changes” :

    After looking through the link, we filed a complaint using the website http://www.torontopearson.com/Noise_Questions_and_Answers/#

    But after filing the complaint, we saw this on that link: “The GTAA is responsible for aircraft noise management and noise complaints for flights operating within a 10 nautical miles of Toronto Airport. For noise complaints or questions regarding aircraft outside of this radius please contact Transport Canada directly at 1-800-305-2059.”
    This is the exact same number we first contacted. It is really like a ping pong game. No one seems to care for this issue and everyone is rejecting the responsibility.The woman even asks us if we close our window. Our window has always been closed and it is a new home energy efficient with good insulation. So even with all our window closed constantly, we can still hear those loud disturbing noises, every day, almost every half hour to 1 hour on average if the weather is not good. But if the weather is good, then it is every 10 min on average. So right now, we cannot feel at home when we are at home as if it feels more like an airport and all those constant disturbing noise has added a lot of stress and literally headache on our daily life.
    When researching on this, I saw your website but I am not sure what I can do and if the town where I live is OK for me to register the petition via your website.
    We would be very grateful if you could give us some advice what we can do?
